Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

I saw this recipe on Pinterest and pinned it for a time I wanted to make cookies. Today was the day and I'm telling you....these are delicious. Mixes our favorite ingredients ...chocolate and peanut butter! Hope you enjoy them. I'm sure my Webelos will!

Ingredients:

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoons milk (add this to the very end just to make dough smooth and creamy)
1 to 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

In large mixing bowl beat butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed of 30 seconds. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and baking powder. Beat until combines, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Beat in the egg and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. ( i just changed the hook to the dough hook and it worked great). Stir in any remaining flour. Add milk and chocolate chips.

Preheat oven to 375. Drop cookies onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until bottoms are light brown. Makes about 60 cookies.
